Bathroom Breaks

Bathroom breaks are obviously an important and necessary part of life but can become a disruption to our middle school academics. In order that these breaks not become a deterrent to education, the middle school teachers, together with administration, have set the following policy for on campus learning:

• Each student should use the restroom before school begins and be in their seats, ready to learn, at 8:00 am.

• Lunch from 10:45 - 11:45 am is the next appropriate time for students to use the restroom. 

• Students should use the restroom during the break from 1:00 to 1:10 pm. 

• When changing for PE at 2:20 pm, students should take the last bathroom break of the day.  

Remote Learning:

• Bathroom breaks should happen during break times between classes. If a student needs to use the restroom during a scheduled class time, it will need to be cleared with the teacher in order to be excused.

It is not always an easy thing to train our bodies but it is a necessary and important part of life.

If there are extenuating circumstances, medical needs, or a true emergency occurs, please let your teacher know so it can be dealt with appropriately.
